Programme PrinciplesLooking back over the development of the BizTime Programme, we can see it now as part of an endless quest for simplicity. We’ve found the simple answers to the big questions. We know why business owners change, or don’t, because we’ve worked with hundreds of them over the last 5 years. Here’s a little bit of what we’ve learned and applied in the design of the programme: Few people can make change on this scale on their own, and there are certain things a good coach does to provide essential accountability and focus. A truly successful development programme (ie, one where members make permanent and significant improvements in their lives) has to run for at least 12 months. Typically, most people hit a wall at 6 months, but there are techniques we use to get you over the wall. It’s a lot easier to waste time on low value stuff rather than work on the things that are important. The trick to re-focussing lies is getting a regular, public, written commitment – but it’s got to be done in a way that just as easy as doing low value stuff. Stress often has little to do with what’s happening to you and everything to do with how you respond. Our techniques give you permission to take control of the stress factors. You will only succeed if you're motivated to succeed. Sounds obvious until you think how many people seem motivated to fail. Our processes and techniques give owners what they need to motivate themselves. Successful people think differently from non-achievers. Our process has proven without doubt that anyone can learn to think that way too. Confidence is vital to success. We’ve structured the programme so that business owners use their achievements to exponentially increase their confidence. People are easily overwhelmed by daily emails of must-reads, vast workbooks to complete, lengthy teleseminars at ridiculous hours. These are produced by other people who don’t simplify the message and make it practical. We do. Our fundamental principle is that 'less is more'.
